I enjoy anything set in Scotland. Who can resist a sexy highlander in a kilt! And another interesting time period we don't see nearly enough of in my humble opinion is the civil war era. It did so much to shape the country as we know it. Someone that was on the Titanic would be a cool concept as well.

Hi Jenn,

Thanks for visiting my page! It was great to meet you in chat. I've got you down for those three times/concepts. Great ideas! I love the civil war idea. I think people get scared off my Gone with The Wind, but there's just a great swath of juicy stories that could be told. I have a series that I'm working on where that time period might work really well. Thank you!

Hi Elaine glad you liked the time periods I suggested they have been big interests to me for a long time. Something that hasn't ever been done to my knowledge that could be an interesting slant on the Titanic one could be what if a man or woman was rescued and fell for someone on the Carpathia that came to rescue the people in the water from Titanic?

Also I wanted to ask have you thought of doing an author website? If you have and want to I would be glad to help you out I'm a graphic designer :) And being a fan I would make you a very good deal ;)

Best of luck always

I think that kind of take on the Titanic would be pretty interesting. I'd have to do more research on the Carpathia. I'd be happy to work on a collaboration if you know a lot about that particular event.

As far as an author website, I'm a huge livejournal fan, so I'm happy for the moment. If I seem to outgrow this, I would love to take you up on your offer. One of my livejournal friends who is a graphic designer is already working on a custom header bar and background for me for livejournal, so I'll go with that for the near future. Thanks for the offer though!

Hi Cathie!

Thanks so much for your interest. I'm always pleased as punch to meet and talk with new fans. I've got you on my mailing list, and feel free to check out my blog for updates, announcements and sneak peaks into my works in progress. I've got my first science fiction romance coming out with Ellora's Cave next week, and I'm really excited. But I won't be abandoning historicals. In April, I'll have a novel out set in New York in the Roaring Twenties. Feel free to email or leave me a comment with any questions or comments!

Hi Elain! Oh I love a variety of genres so I'm looking forward to that too! SF is new to me, as Fantasy was and I'm totally hooked on Fantasy romance as well now and its starting to happen with SF. I must sound nuts with all this, LOL, but its a pure joy to read and exciting too! I deal with alot of pain (long story) but these reads really let me forget that and escape into the book! I shall be checking up on yours more and definately coming to visit here whenever I can. Thanks!

I understand about escaping through books! I suffer from chronic vertigo and someday the only way to get through the day is to focus completely on reading or writing and blocking out the rest of the world. A good story can make everything else fade away!

Hi Elaine. I put Enchant the Dawn on my TBB list. New York (or Chicago) in the Roaring Twenties is a time period I don't see enough of. I'd like to read a story set in Hollywood during the Golden Age of Hollywood (late 1920s to the late 1950s).

Great! thanks for your support. This time period was SO much fun to write, I'm sure I will be revisiting it. And I agree, Golden Age of Hollywood is a lush and fantastic time. I'll definitely keep it in mind!
